Our sea and tree change My partner Rory and I decided to finally make the move we had been talking about for years. I found my whole being longing to be nearer to nature, so I could be held by the Earth more closely and be nourished, and form a more intimate relationship with her. I have especially found this necessary since I have been doing more readings, session work and workshops. I have to draw from such a deep place in my 'nature', and it needs to be replenished from a much deeper place.
I have had the planet Saturn in Sagittarius opposing my Gemini Sun on-an-off for the last few months, and this transit will be influencing me until the end of the year. Last time this happened was when I did a big location change too. I moved from Adelaide to Melbourne, thirty years ago. There were challenges and wounds which came about because of that move, which I've been compelled to review and heal, in the last year, before I get what needs to be felt, learned and taken on board for this Saturn opposition. In that last opposition thirty years ago I built the foundations of my business: Candy Spender Jewels, some of you may not be aware that I am also an artist and jewellery designer/assembler (as I call myself). One of the side-effects has been that my usual fiery vitality and enthusiasm has been curbed and I feel quite exhausted and lack-lustre at times. Living near the coast and in amongst huge old gum trees, with their colourful and noisy parrot populations, and the soft round sea air in the mornings instead of the fumes from rush-hour traffic feels like heaven to me. And I am making my life here in the Mornington Peninsula now, and it feels really right and that I'm on track. The recent Lunar and Solar eclipses in March both had a huge affect on my chart, between them I was 'all shook up', as ofcourse any kind of moving house is stressful and huge, but this one was more than a house move, it was also a huge change of life-style. Interpreting the eclipses as well as I could for myself gave me so much confirmation and spelled out clearly what my big change was about. It really is a change of vibration and frequency, and I can already feel myself expanding into the spaces. I still come into Melbourne two days a week to do tarot readings at Spellbox (Thursdays and Fridays 10:30-6pm). But I am also doing readings using Skype, phone or FaceTime. So far this is working really well. I will also find some sort of space in Melbourne or near where I live in Crib Point now, where I can do face-to-face readings and session work, stay tuned!
